My parent's have owned a home decor and gift store for over 30 years. As a kid, my mom gave me this paint brush with faux paint drips from her store as a decoration for my wall. I recently discovered it and hung it on my wall. It always inspires me to be creative. I thought that I would share this in case you need something on your walls or screens to inspire you. 

While walking through the streets of Rome, I noticed this canvas hanging in a small bookshop window. 

Similar to Keith Arnatt’s 1972 work ‘Trouser - Word Piece’ I see it as an ironic reference to artistic egocentricity. But at the same time, it is those who are brave enough to make such a statement who are the ‘real artists’.
