Our Other Service Dogs

Marcin & Tikka from Marshall Dogs FCI

It's been a month since Pańcio and his little dog have been enjoying each other's company. Tikka entered the training path and for now she is showing a full set of traits that she will need to be an assistance dog. She will be a rescue dog as well, after work as well 😁. Grupa Poszukiwawczo-Ratownicza Żary

For now, there is love, cuddling, playing, socialization and getting used to behavior in various public places... and other strange ones too.

Alex & Ecmo

Ecmo has always been with Alex, supported him throughout his medical studies, and now together they have received the full right to practice medicine. 😘

One thing is certain: a person who is less stressed, remembers things they have learned more easily. So if you ever meet a doctor with a dog - don't be surprised, just rejoice!

Miłosz & LEIA (Belize Yucero Bohemia)

LEIA is an Belgian Shepherd Malinois assisting dog for Miłosz who is our super soldier-firefighter and paramedic person, struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Miłosz is a fantastic very active guy always willing to help anyone who needs it. Together with LEIA they are starting to create the best dog-human duo in the world – it's true love from first sight.

We would also like to thank Mr. Marian Nowak, M.D., Director of SPZOZ Ambulance Station in Częstochowa, for his big heart, understanding and allowing the assistance dog to stay with the Guardian at the ambulance station! Thank you!

It's Good To Ask Questions

What training do these service dogs undergo?

Each service dog undergo extensive training that includes obedience, task-specific skills, socialization, and public access training to ensure they can perform their duties in various environments.

How long does it take to train a service dog?

Training a service dog can take anywhere from six months to two years, depending on the specific tasks they need to learn and the individual dog's temperament and learning pace.

What are the costs and who is paying them?

Individual cost is around 60,000 PLN which is approximately 14,730 USD. The FORTIOR Foundation is financially responsible for training and treatment.

What is the meaning of the Bankai name?

In the anime Bleach, Bankai is the final and most powerful form of a Shinigami's Zanpakutō (soul-cutting sword). Achieving Bankai significantly enhances a Shinigami's abilities, often granting them new powers and transforming their Zanpakutō into a more formidable weapon. Each Bankai is unique to its wielder and reflects their personality and fighting style.

For example, Ichigo Kurosaki's Bankai, Tensa Zangetsu, increases his speed and power dramatically, while Byakuya Kuchiki's Senbonzakura Kageyoshi releases thousands of tiny, petal-like blades that can be controlled at will.

How can I support you?

Various ways to do that. So far the sky is the limit. The sky limit will be take down when we get greetings from the Team serving on the International Space Station Expedition. Get in touch with the FORTIOR Foundation.

Family is the most important asset. . Bankai is important. With the service dog it's not "VS" relations, it's "+". We are together 24/7 if there is a need for it.

To get started with obtaining a service dog, research reputable organizations or trainers, assess your needs, and follow their application process to match you with the right service dog.

What should I do if I encounter discrimination with my service dog?

If you face discrimination with your service dog, you can file a complaint with the appropriate authorities or seek legal advice to address the situation.

What if I have more questions?

Great. Will create a form to send them.

Disclaimer

Note For Professionals. Park you ass for a minute here.

Just to make things clear. Human is a human being(or at least should try to act like one). Dog is a dog. Service dog is a service dog. My dog is not my son or daughter(He is more - sorry kids ;) ). Healthy and strong discipline is the key.

Here are the most important principles of K-9 training we are going under:

  • Consistency: Use the same commands and routines.

  • Positive Reinforcement: Reward desired behaviors.

  • Timing: Provide immediate feedback.

  • Short, Fun Sessions: Keep training brief and engaging.

  • Clear Commands: Use simple, distinct commands.

  • Patience and Persistence: Be patient and persistent.

  • Specialized Training: Focus on specific skills like obedience and scent detection.
