A Curious and Empathetic Product Leader
I'm passionate about leveraging technology to solve real-world problems. I have industry experience in building AI powered consumer products at Amazon, leading B2B product incubation and launches, as well as building Power Systems Designs for Data Centers.
Career Journey
Amazon - Sr. Product Manager Technical (2022 - Present)
As a Sr. Product Manager Technical, I lead the team that helps Amazon Photos customers relive their memories on their Echo Show and Fire TV devices. I work with a diverse set of cross functional teams like design, backend & frontend engineers, ML scientist and computer vision engineers.
Schneider Electric - Lead Product Manager (2020 - 2022)
As a Lead Product Manager, I led the development and management of ASCO Load Bank products. My team and I worked closely with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver products that met customer needs and business goals. I was responsible for setting the product vision and roadmap, enabling businesses to maintain their essential infrastructure.
Schneider Electric - Product Launch Leader (2018 - 2020)
As a Product Launch Leader, I launched new Low & Medium Voltage products and drove sales growth in the West Coast. I provided technical expertise to a diverse customer base, including OEMs, EOMs, end-users, and contractors in market segments like Semi-Conductor, Data Center, Healthcare.
nVent - Technical Product Manager (2016 - 2018)
As a Technical Product Manager, I drove significant cost savings and operational efficiencies for nVent Raychem & Nuheat. I led supply chain optimization initiatives, including supplier consolidation and strategic sourcing, manufacturing kaizen events, VAVE and Product teardown events.
Eaton - Project Manager (2015 - 2016)
As a Project Manager, I successfully managed complex low and medium voltage electrical projects for residential, commercial, and critical facilities (including hyper-scale data centers and hospitals).
Eaton - Power Systems Engineer (2012 - 2015)
As a Power System Engineer, I conducted over 300 power system studies, including short circuit, device evaluation, selective coordination, and arc flash analysis for low and medium voltage systems.
Favorite products I launched
Amazon Photos - Gather
Pitched the idea for "Gather" and incubated it into a 0-to-1 photo-sharing feature that enables event hosts to effortlessly collect photos from attendees. Guests can scan a shared QR code to upload photos instantly, with no sign-ins or email requirements. For hosts using Amazon FireTV, the experience is magical; by asking Alexa to “Start my photos party,” a QR code appears on screen, allowing attendees to upload photos and view a live slideshow. Secured funding from our General Manager, won first place at an internal innovation competition, and launched on iOS, achieving 5.6x higher guest participation than our existing shared album feature, with a CSAT of 4.2.
Avtron (Formerly a Schneider Electric Company) - 2775 Resistive Load Bank
Led a global team of 9 engineers across three time zones and four countries to redesign and develop a 265kW portable load bank in response to a request from a major hyperscale data center customer. Recognizing a broader market opportunity, I interviewed additional large hyperscale data centers and rental companies to assess the demand for this product across the industry. Based on these insights, I created a business proposal for leadership, but faced a challenge—there was no dedicated funding for new product innovations, and our engineering team was fully committed to existing build-to-order projects.
To overcome this, I partnered with the VP of Product and R&D to leverage Schneider Electric’s Open Talent Market, an internal mobility tool, to tap into internal resources. By strategically building a team through this tool, I was able to hire 9 engineers and a designer without additional funding, saving $500k in P&L by avoiding the need for external contractors. The team's work successfully brought the product to life, addressing the needs of both the customer and the broader market.
Haiti - DC Lighting Power System
Growing up in Haiti, where power reliability is a challenge and many households still rely on kerosene lamps, I developed a DC lighting system using 12V rechargeable batteries and LED bulbs to power my parents' home. Over the years, I continued to refine and upgrade the system, leveraging my growing experience in electrical engineering. Today, the system can generate up to 400W, providing reliable lighting, powering smartphones, internet routers, and entertainment devices like TVs. I also incorporated an automatic transfer switch (ATS) to ensure that a backup generator kicks in during power outages to support larger appliances. Additionally, I rewired the house to ensure high-power appliances are isolated from the solar-powered circuits, optimizing battery usage for lighting and other small necessities.
From 2012 to 2019, every December I traveled back to Haiti to help neighbors implement their own systems, building affordable solar setups for homes in my community. During this time, I successfully installed systems in four homes for families who otherwise couldn’t have afforded such solutions, helping to improve their quality of life and reduce dependence on unreliable grid power.
