Instructions for use !
1. Preparation
From the announcement of the concert, spectators are invited through various media communication to prepare texts that they will bring to hear them interpreted by the duo: poems of all kinds, extracts from novels, essays, personal writings, not written , speeches, confidences and personal confessions, instructions for using household appliances, newspaper day or last year, advertisements, epics, subscription contract with a television operator mobile telephony, children's book, old people's book, electoral promises, reports activity, pink sheets from Larousse, cooking recipes, love letters and postcards “good kisses from Palavas les Flots”…
2. Set Up
Just before the start of the concert, texts are collected from the audience.
Baskets containing technical, interpretation or musical style constraints are arranged at the front of the stage.
3. Improvisation
The singer takes a text and draws from the hat a constraint that he must respect during the interpretation of the said text.
The guitarist starts the first notes. The singer, flanked by an extract from the third chapter of a German language textbook for complete beginners (Umlaüt 97) and a piece of paper which requires him to play the “Opéra” throws himself into the water.
Since the singer isn't us, it's very funny.
As the guitarist and the singer know each other well and often play together, this turns easily.
As nothing is prepared it is necessarily surprising, literally unheard of, resolutely unique.
As they are good company people and very experienced musicians, the risk remains very measured. Phew!
