什麼是FRC?
FRC（FIRST Robotics Competition）由非營利組織FIRST所主辦
以全球高校學生為主要參賽者的工業級機器人國際賽事
為國際機器人競賽最高殿堂、全球難度最高的機器人賽事
不僅能學習如何“從零開始製作一台競賽機器人”
同時給予參賽者申請全球各大學名校與補助獎學金的機會，為挖掘世界上機器人人才的重要賽事
如麻省理工學院（MIT）、哈佛大學、耶魯大學、哥倫比亞大學、多倫多大學、波士頓大學等
也會透過FRC，挑選人才加入他們的學校，
在美國很多學校的大學申請表上都會註明申請人是否參加過 FIRST 項目競賽。
有不少高中生都因為在比賽中表現突出而獲得入學機會並獲得獎學金。
據統計，麻省理工學院每9個學生就有一位曾參與FRC競賽活動。
