Capital Raising Advisory
We assist alternative investment managers in raising capital by leveraging our extensive network of European LPs, with a strong focus on the German speaking LP community. In accordance with our business policy, KAIA does not maintain relationships with retail clients. Our clients are exclusively professional clients. A professional client, as defined by this policy, is a client who has sufficient experience, knowledge, and expertise to make their own investment decisions and to properly assess the associated risks.
Client Relations Support
Our team helps maintain and enhance relationships with limited partners through ongoing communication and participation on special industry events. We support alternative investment managers with their strategic market entry, branding, fundraising, and after-sales activities to professional investors across Europe.

Reinhard L. Hartl
Founder and Managing Partner. More than 30 years of financial experience.
Reinhard is a strategic and entrepreneurial finance executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in alternative investments and asset management. A proven founder and Managing Director with a deep network accross global general partners and prestigious European institutional investors. Expert in fund structuring, capital raising, and multi-asset tactical allocation.
Reinhard is a Co-Founder and currently the Managing Partner of Kronstein Alternative Investment Advisors GmbH in Freiburg, Germany. Since 2006 a leading independent placement agent firm focused exclusively on alternative asset classes with more than 40 realised fundraising campaigns. Reinhard has been a Member of the Board of Directors since 2001 at Global Vision AG Private Equity Partners Frankfurt, Germany. A Private Equity Fund-of-Funds General Partner currently in liquidation. Overseeing the selection and supervision of over 40 national and international Venture Capital and Private Equity Partnerships. Since 1999 Reinhard is working as a Freelance Consultant as Strategic Advisor on portfolio strategy and tactical asset allocation for a select group of German private clients. From 1993 until 1999 Reinhard worked as COO and CFO for two large family offices in the Munich area. There he acted as an early pioneer in Private Equity investing within US and European markets. He led the asset management back-offices and implemented a proprietary Multi-Asset Controlling System for stocks, bonds, real estate, and private assets for both family offices. Reinhard started his career at MTU German Aerospace, Munich, as a Aero Engine Controller from 1990 until 1993. He was part of a multinational joint venture with Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Fiat and a Japanese consortium, developed international sales proposals and was part of a China-based Joint Venture project reporting to the MTU Executive Board.
Reinhard is a graduate in Business Administration (Diplom-Kaufmann univ.) of the University Augsburg, finalised his studies in 1990.
