Rescue, Rehabilitate, Release
At Little River Wildlife Rehabilitation, we dedicate ourselves to rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing injured native reptiles. Operating solely through the efforts of passionate volunteers, we rely on community support as we receive no state or federal funding. Join us in our mission to protect and restore these incredible creatures.

Reptiles & Amphibians
For assistance with injured reptiles and amphibians (turtles, snakes. frogs, etc...), it is best to TEXT us detailed photos and descriptions. This is the easiest way for us to assess if we can help or if the animal needs emergency care. We will get back to you ASAP.
Birds, Mammals & Others
Little River Wildlife focuses on reptiles and amphibians. For help with any other animals, we recommend contacting UT or checking the TWRA website for a list of qualified rehabbers.
Healing the wild, one reptile at a time.
Want to contribute?
Rehabbers do not receive any state or federal funding. All expenses are paid out of our own pockets. If you'd like to contribute to the cause, we have Venmo and an Amazon wish list established. Your donations are greatly appreciated and go directly to the care of these animals in need.
We can always use help with transport. Both to/from UT Vet hospital and also releases once the animals have been deemed healthy enough. Turtles specifically, must be released within a mile of where they came from. Your support and involvement can help us continue our vital work.
