CROSS COUNTRY SKI COURSE

You’ll spend a couple of fun and active hours learning the Finnish national sport, cross-country skiing. You'll get a glimpse of the nature and the culture of the exceptional Sea Lapland area. Depending on your skills, you will go for a short and easy round suitable for beginners and families or for a more active tour to visit the islands in front of the Snowcastle.
We will meet up next to the Snowcastle and start our adventure with a short initiation. Once you are ready, we'll head to the small forest next door, and then to the frozen sea with white snow everywhere you look. Far from the shore, you will feel small in front of the grand nature. It can be a baffling experience, but with an experienced guide the trip will be completely safe and an unforgettable experience for sure.
The tour includes cross-country skis, shoes and guiding by an experienced nature guide.
You don't need any experience and you don't have to be athletic in order to enjoy this experience. We'll adapt the trip according to your abilities.
SNOW SCULPTING
55€/adult, 22€/child (5-12 yo), 125€/family (2 adults+1 to 3 children)
This short but intensive program will get the participants familiar to the world of snow and ice carving.
I will train you to use the main carving tools and teach you the ice carving technics. You will start sculpting easy shapes such as letters, and get into more advanced projects towards the end of the course.
Warm juice will be served during the course. I will also help you take photos of your snow sculpture.
No previous experienced needed.
The program lasts 1,5-2 hours.

Is there a minimum age requirement for the tours?
Minimum age for ski lesson is 8 years old and children should be accompanied by an adult. We can tailor the experience to suit younger participants.
Minimum age for snow sculpture is 5 years old, also accompanied by an adult.
What is the minimum and maximum group size for the tours?
To ensure a personalised experience, we typically limit our group sizes from 2 to 10 participants for cross country skiing.
For ice sculpture, the group size is from 4 to 20 participants
