Reading Sees Hotest April Day on record

Reading saw the hottest April day on record on 8 April, when people took to the river banks and Forbury Gardens in the town centre.It was the right kind of weather for mums and dads for the children's half-term Easter School break. 24 Hours later, the weather had taken a turn with light winds and overcast, dull grey skies.
