Whisky Barrels Re-invented
from £35
Although the original contents are a luxury , when the barrels are used up I can re-design the staves and tops
These hand-crafted redesigned barrel tops have undergone a series of sanding processes, effectively removing the majority of the nearly 200-year-old debris.
These are typically finished in wax, which is not durable outdoors, while yacht varnish provides long-lasting protection.

Our Rivers are polluted beyond repair in most places
Excess phosphates are normally to blame causing age blooms killing native filter plants etc.
In fact forget the etc go and challenge my facts look it up , go and drink some river water if you dare, it stinks.
Even the Olympic Games Paris 2024 are cancelling the swimming part of the Triathalon
So may remedy should be , oh I have drainage experience actually so I know a little bit of what I’m moaning about;
Dredge the rivers to remove algae and restart after 2020 floods.
Never mind the Great Crested Newts / Salmon eggs and other species they will thrive in clean habitats !!
Landowners should be responsible for the stretches of rivers bounding their properties and NOT THE RIVER AUTHORITIES ….they should only regulate the ongoing process of water purification
The main issue with new build housing apart from cross connections , (you can guess what that means sewerage going into Surface Water pipes by lazy sub contract builders) The Design Teams should be held responsible for the pollution of any new schemes
Cross connections in new build should be checked by building control , these used to be but this remit was lost somehow!
Similarly the design of new build housing used to be the remote of the local councils which included the design of new systems to cater for the new flows including overflow systems and resizing of pipes AND redesigning the waste plants
Westminster need to fund these direct Capital Projects and they don’t need to employ expensive design teams, the employees of the local authorities should be qualified to do this themselves in house with Government funding to employ these teams
Here’s a radical viewpoint, its NOT the fault of the authorities that the Victorians didn’t build systems to allow for 500 years ahead !
The Victorians barely designed systems to cope with the narrow roads and existing housing
The whole infrastructure needs updating
Norway model, please start this immediately
Get all the power companies around the table tell them their asset is now state owned and go away, with immediate affect
The Westminster Government will then issue a license, fees payable by the Production Companies, to extract the base material
Fuel cost will now be measurable world wide based on say the Thailand (again) rates about 60p per litre cheaper everywhere.
Road repairs , the base material for Oil and gas extracted can produce a bitumen material this will be used for. Roads etc and the oil / gas companies will pay for the roads to be maintained through their profits. Esso 1/2 year profit 2024 £7 billion just one example !!!!! Maybe its not the correct figure but pick a number and it has lots and lots of zeros after it and its not going towards the good of our country.
Pensions, will be in line with the Norwegian model.
Orkney model
Energy for taxis and busses is NOT based on Electric Mains charged batteries they use a system in all their public transport and its powered by Hydrogen.
Exhaust from this …..water
Wind power and wave power charge their batteries to run the Hydrogen motors
Education
Exams and the school curriculum will not be designed around the any scoring tables that only benefits the schools not the students
People are moving house to be near a school that’s high on the list for goodness sakes ,WTF
This also inflates house prices it just gets crazier and on and on !!
These registers will be deleted with immediate affect.
If a student needs additional teaching then employ the properly trained staff to do so
Don't drop him/her to another stage and forget about their Mathematics / French or Latin teaching, teach them in a method that can procreate from and let the schools flourish by teaching not being fixated on how many pass the exams in the requisite timescales
Drop it, employ more teachers with the skills required I’ve been saying this since 1974 and got detention for it then !!!…. seriously I did
6th Forms and colleges will no longer teach A levels or school level exams these will be taught in school where they should be unless you over a certain age group. Further education is just that!
