Our proofreading service ensures that your manuscript is free from usage, spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors and that it reads well. This service is mostly beneficial to already-edited manuscripts.
Copyediting
Also known as line editing, this service fixes sentence structure, clarity, and incorrect usage or awkward phrasing issues. You will receive comprehensive feedback on how to improve the content and data presentation as well.
Advanced Editing
This service ensures the most comprehensive level of editing (including reorganization of text as needed, word reduction for brevity and impact, and maintaining consistency, logic, and academic tone throughout) and adherence to the highest publication standards set out by academic publishers and professional organizations.

What is your experience in academic editing and consulting?
I have over 10 years of experience in academic research and writing. I have been working as a certified copyeditor and consultant since 2019, assisting academic researchers with achieving their scholarly publishing goals and improving the clarity and impact of their academic work. So far, I have worked with numerous businesses to prepare more than 1300 manuscripts for publication in academic journals.
Can you share any samples of your work or provide free editing?
Unfortunately, owing to the strict confidentiality agreements, I cannot provide any samples of my past work. Similarly, I will not share your work as part of my portfolio at any time in the future, even after it has been published. Owing to time limitations, I am unable to offer free editing at this time.
How can I order a service?
Please email your manuscript for editing and let me know the type of service you are interested in. After you receive and approve the invoice and the contract agreement, I will perform editing and return your edited manuscript within two or three business days. I may reject the work if I will not be able to return it timely owing to unavailability. Note that you can order as few as 1000 words for any of the services.
Can you offer any discounts?
I offer a 10% discount for mass orders (>100,000 words).
What if my manuscript still gets rejected after editing?
Journal editors may reject manuscripts for various reasons irrelevant to writing issues, such as lack of space, or unsuitability of the scope of work. In case of a journal rejection, I can work with you to resolve the issue, suggesting another suitable journal or going over the manuscript to address any deficiencies or content-related issues. Rest assured that I will work with you until you are fully satisfied with your order.
Can you perform ghostwriting for me?
No. I cannot provide ghostwriting of journal articles, theses, dissertations, or any other publishable academic material that would conflict with publication ethics (see Page 29 of CSE’s Recommendations for Promoting Integrity in Scientific Journal Publications).
