Croydon

Being a more residential area, there are many pet friendly pubs. You'll understand why if you choose to stay in this area as there are many pet owners out and about.

The Bull

Tucked away in Surrey Street, Croydon is this uniquely pooch friendly local with a surprising outdoor seating area serving beers and burgers in the beating heart of Croydon.

As you enter the inconspicuous and quintessentially old English pub entrance on Surrey Street you are greeted with well worn floorboards and centralised bar however if you gaze to the right of the bar, tucked neatly in the corner, you'll spot the doggy side table of water bowls, treats and water tap. A truly pet friendly pub serving local 2 and 4 legged friends.

Dont be surprised if there are just as many pooches as patrons and feel free to share the puppy love among the masses, especially if you’re dining or drinking outdoors.

The selection of drinks and food are standard pub grub that will quench your thirst and appease your tummy alongside exceptional and friendly service.

A must visit spot when outside central London and looking to experience local fur baby friendly vibes indoors in winter and outdoors when the sun is shining.

The Clifton Arms

A hop, skip and a jump from Selhurst stadium you will find the friendly staff and patrons of the Clifton Arms. Lovely outdoor seating at the front and a classic English style pub inside where you pooch will be well loved by all.

The Dark Horse

We haven't ventured into this pub since it's new ownership and re-opening however their website states dog friendly and a review is pending.

The Oval Tavern

This is one of our favourites due to their delicious Sunday roast and beer garden.

The Oval is a well established local pub in Croydon about a 10 minute walk from East Croydon station and is infamous for its Sunday roasts which are absolutely to die for.

Definitely a pooch friendly establishment offering a thirst quenching water bowl when requested on arrival.

Well known by many Croydon locals for its live music over the weekends and their exceptional Sunday Roasts. Be sure to book early for the Sunday Roast and enjoy it in their fully weather equipped beer garden. If your pooch is not keen on loud noises or music, attend early on a Sunday and leave before the band starts.

Your pet will need to remain on a lead at all times as The Oval is a favourite among most pet owners in the area.

If not attending on a Sunday, they offer basic bar meals abd classic pub tipples with exceptionally dog friendly staff so you and your pet will be sure to have a faboulous bite to eat and a bevvie or two to boot..

The Bougie Staffy has been here many times and knows the way there and home, a testament to the good vibes, delicious roasts and fab company The Oval provides.

If you're travelling past or staying near by, stop by.

The Prince George

A classic locals establishment on the Thorton Heath roundabout which provides a friendly atmosphere, jukebox and a somewhat challenging game of pool or darts.

Popular with the away crowds on Palace home game days, however outside of the football days, this is a friendly establishment for a quiet pint or two with your four-legged friend.

You know this unpretentious pub is pooch friendly when the Bougie Staffy is served at the bar by the staff. Check out the bespoke bar top of pennies too, great idea and looks fab.

Stopping by the George on a sunny day after a walk in Grange park is like coming home to a warm open fire on a cold winter’s day. Warm, inviting with a good brew selection and outdoor seats on summers days to people watch.

The Spread Eagle

The White Horse

A fab local pub near Selhurst station offering pool and darts competition nights with a stable beer and wine selection.

The feature of this pub is the warm wood fire during colder months and extensive outdoor seating which is perfect on the warm spring afternoons and summer days. Being close to Selhurst stadium makes it a prime tipple spot for Palace fans and locals alike.

The owner, staff and patrons are welcoming to you and your pet(s) in a truly honest manner, with treats available for the well behaved pooches. You' couldn’t ask for a friendlier pub to wind down at than the Whitehorse Hotel.

PS: on occassion, they are known to provide a bbq or sarnies. Would be fab if they added a wood fired pizza oven in the garden to reel in the locals when the weather permits.
