At least, that’s what I wish it said off to the side. It’s been a long time sine I’ve done both of those things – too long.

I’ve spent the last couple months funemployed and figuring out exactly what I want to do. I found a job a long way away from home that fit the bill and tossed in an application the other day but I’m pretty sure that I won’t get it for one reason or another.

Anyways – putting the application together was a lot of fun. It let me dream like I haven’t since I was in university, and getting it all down on paper was pretty liberating.

My custom workspace which I designed, built and wired in 2017. From here I perform most of my personal tasks: writing articles, code, hacking or doing something equally spectacular. A custom passively cooled quad core Hackintosh runs smooth and remains whisper quiet, DIY monitor backlight keeps the eye strain from late night sprints at bay, a custom built DAC combined with either monitors or headphones fills the space with wondrous vibes. The mini-galaxy bulbs enclosed in terrariums symbolize “self” as being part of something grand, something bigger than life, urging one to do great things…

Just a list of things you should check off daily

Taking photos of sunsets is always a gamble! You can never trust the weather forecast to tell you whether the sky will be photo worthy, more often than not you’ll probably be disappointed with the result. We had been checking the sky for a week to try and get out for some sunset photos but every evening was overcast.
The day this photo was taken wasn’t any different, with a thick bank of cloud on the horizon, but we decided to skip dinner and go a few miles to Talisker Bay to see if the sun would surprise us. We got there about an hour before and knew it was going to be a special evening.
