AI That Actually Ships. Built by a Construction Guy.

I'm Daniel Hitt — 26 years in construction, 4 in the estimating chair, now building production AI systems that run every day inside a real estimating department. Intake automation with an AI confirmation gate. AI-driven takeoffs in Bluebeam MAX. Company memory systems. Not demos — working systems. If your business runs on repetitive workflows, I'll show you exactly where AI pays off in yours.

Services by Pacific Coast AI Operations

AI Operations Assessment — $2,500/day.

One day inside your operation. I map your workflows like an estimator reads a plan set and hand you a prioritized roadmap: what to automate, what it saves, what to skip

Build Sprints.

I build the system — intake automations, AI judgment gates, takeoff pipelines, knowledge systems — in your accounts, documented, your team trained. You own everything.

Fractional AI Operator.

Your ongoing AI operations lead without the full-time hire. I run, extend, and harden your systems monthly.

One automation I built recovers 125+ hours a year — every year.

It reads sales reps' emails, decides with AI whether a job is confirmed, and writes it to the live department flow sheet. Zero manual entry. That's what "AI operations" means when it ships.

Why I Do This

I've been building things my whole life. I started in construction as a kid hanging wallpaper, and I never really left — 26 years in the trade, the last several reading plan sets and counting windows for buildings with hundreds of units. I live in the Pacific Northwest and it's got its hooks in me. When I'm not building AI systems I'm salmon fishing, fly fishing, hiking, or out on a paddleboard I built myself — because apparently I can't even relax without building something first. That's really the whole story of why I do this work. I've spent my career watching good people burn hours on work a machine should do — copying emails into spreadsheets, re-typing the same numbers, hunting for information somebody already found last year. When AI got good enough to actually fix that, I didn't hire someone to explore it. I learned it myself, built it myself, and shipped it into my own department first — because I'd never sell a client something I wasn't willing to run my own work on. I'm a husband, a dad, and a guy who believes work should be done honestly and tools should actually work. If that sounds like someone you'd want in your operation for a day, let's talk.

What "Unlocking Efficiency" Actually Looks Like

Efficiency isn't a dashboard or a chatbot — it's the 7-minute task that happened 92 times a month and now happens zero. It's the estimator doing estimating instead of data entry. It's the answer to "what did we decide about the mirrors on that job?" taking ten seconds instead of ten emails.

I find those wins hiding in your operation, and I build the systems that collect them — every day, without being asked.
