Bodegas Castaño, Bodegas La Purísima and Bodegas Barahonda are the primary wineries in Yecla offering guided tours. Evine and Conde de Montornés Wineries also provide visits, often coordinated through the Yecla Wine Route or the local Municipal Tourism Office.

We are also only a stone's throw from Jumilla, with its famous Bodegas Juan Gil. Yecla and Jumilla are firmly on the world-wine map!

Yecla is a premier cycling destination in the Murcia region of Spain, offering a mix of vineyard routes, steppes, and mountain trails suitable for all levels. Vuelta Ciclista a la Región de Murcia in February, is a race not to be missed! Roads are closed and spectators are welcomed in Yecla.

  • Scenic and Gentle: The 12km Paseo entre Viñedos de las Gruesas is an ideal circular route for beginners, passing through extensive vineyards.

  • Open Landscapes: The Ruta por las Estepas de Yecla offers vast, open horizons and diverse fauna, perfect for leisurely rides.

  • Mountain Challenges: Routes near Carche, Raspay, and the Colorado area provide more demanding climbs and rugged terrain.

  • Long-Distance Trails: Wikiloc hosts over 1,900 trails, including challenging routes like the 80km loop through Bañeres and Biar with significant elevation gain.

Many routes start and end right at our door, so bring your own bikes, plan your routes using our Wi-Fi, and head out into nature. There is a secure lock-up to store your bikes overnight.

San Isidro, is one of Yecla's many famous fiestas, but arguably the most loved. While the festival spans most of the month of May, the main fiesta, the Gran Cabalgata de Carrozas, is held on the Saturday afternoon closest to the 15th of May, which is the saint's day.

The Fiestas de San Isidro in Yecla are vibrant celebrations of agricultural heritage, declared of National Tourist Interest. The undisputed highlight is the Gran Cabalgata de Carrozas. This spectacular event features:

  • Artisanal Floats: Over 50 local clubs (peñas) spend months constructing beautiful floats, mounted on tractor trailers, which are intricately decorated with millions of crumpled tissue paper squares known as papelicos, depicting scenes of rural life, local history, or satirical themes.

Although this is an off-grid lodging, we do have limited Wi-Fi availability inside the property. While we encourage guests to enjoy the natural surroundings and disconnect, Wi-Fi is accessible in common areas.


Yes, we are proud to offer rural off-grid lodging. Our property operates sustainably, using only solar power and eco-friendly systems to minimize our environmental impact.


While our property is in a safe rural area, it's only 15 minutes from the closest hospital and police station. The property is registered with the local health and security services via a unique number, which enables the emergency services to locate the property accurately in case of emergency. We also provide emergency contact information and prioritise guest safety during your stay.


Although Yecla is in the Region of Murcia, the closest beaches are in Alicante, the Costa Blanca, which leads Spain with 95 Blue Flag beaches in 2026, the closest of which is less than an hour away.


Reservations can be made through our website contact form, by email, or by phone. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons.


We welcome well-behaved pets by prior arrangement. Please contact us in advance to discuss your pet's stay and any specific requirements.

Car hire is available from the airports: Alicante, Murcia and Valencia. There are also companies in Pinoso and Yecla itself.

Outside of the main cities, Spain sadly lacks basic public transport. There are taxi's available to book from local companies, of which 5 advertise services.
