Empowering Lesotho's Hidden Talents

Connecting aspiring talents with experienced mentors to guide their personal and professional growth.

I followed Don Kao, a Chinese American LGBT activist, around for weeks on an assignment from New York Times photo editor James Estrin. I captured this moment of Don helping a woman fill out paperwork. It exemplifies how hands-on and willing to help Don is, especially among LGBTQ youth.

I spoke at a leadership conference in Beijing about high-performance teamwork and as part of my stay, went to see the Chaoyang Acrobats. I thought they demonstrated beautifully, a high-degree of effective teamwork.
