STATEMENT OF FAITH

The Scriptures

We believe The KJB Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and preserved words of God. We believe

that God has preserved every word that He intended His people to have today.

Psalm 12:6–7

“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou

shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.”

We believe these preserved words are faithfully represented in The KJB Holy Bible, which we hold as

our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

The Godhead

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existing as Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and

that these three are one.

The Deity of Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, the eternal Son of God. He was conceived by

the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life and is both fully God and fully man.

The Gospel

We believe the Gospel by which sinners are saved is clearly defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1–4:

“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the

third day according to the scriptures.”

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace through faith, and not by works. A sinner is justified before God by

placing their faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ as the full payment for sin.

Romans 3:25

“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood…”

Salvation is received by trusting in the finished work of Christ — His death, burial, and resurrection.

Eternal Security

We believe that when a person believes the Gospel and trusts in the blood of Jesus Christ alone for

salvation, that believer is immediately sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.Ephesians 1:13

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom

also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”

This sealing guarantees the believer’s salvation and eternal inheritance in Christ.

Rightly Dividing the Scriptures

We believe The KJB Holy Bible must be studied and understood by rightly dividing the word of truth.
