Boot Windows 10 MBR into full protected UEFI
Windows 10 AwesomeSauce is not a product. It is a FREE guide
to boot a MBR (Master Boot Record also known as Legacy)install of windows 10 into UEFI mode.
Thats right it can be done and Im gona show you how.
#1 First u need to make a new FAT32 PRIMARY partition(50MB is more than enough). this can be done
with many different programs. I used Gparted because Its FREE. search it on Google.
We want to use Gparted to leave some unallocated space before the C: Partition.
UEFI Boot is not dependent on the EFI filesystem. All that is required is a FAT32 PRIMARY partition.
Important!! use Windows disk manager to make the FAT32 partition we only need Gparted to unallocate the space.
Windows disk manager will only unallocate data after a partition and, Its not wise to mess with the System Reserved.
If we use Gparted to create the FAT32 partition windows will not boot afterwards.
#2 Now that thats done. Run the Command Prompt as ADMINISTRATOR
#3 Enter
bcdboot C:\windows /s E: /f UEFI
C:\windows is the place where windows is installed
and E: is the location of the FAT32 Primary partition we just made.
you want to change E: to what ever letter your fat32 partition is.
Thats it!! now you can boot in mbr and Uefi.
