FIRE 2 of 2: The Fire Buddha sculpture will represent the element of fire, and communicate the Buddhist idea of suffering. The slab of rock I make for this will be huge, and I want it to transition up, from a heavily textured base, to a solid, vividly-colored slab. It will be years before this sculpture begins, so I'll still be doing more tests. However, if you look at the 3D lava render, you'll see I've already been experimenting with how to create textures in a 3D digital space that I'll translate to a real, physical 3D space -- eventually. Space Buddha is first though lol!
