ABOUT US

The Cannabis Industry Development Association of South Africa - CIDASA was informally established 2018 and now with the CIPC as a Non-Profit Company with Enterprise number: 2025/722770/08. CIDASA was established in response and support to the Constitutional Courts ruling in September 2018 that states that it is unconstitutional for people to still be arrested for using Cannabis for their own personal benefits in their own home.

CIDASA has positioned itself to become the third party between the State and its Citizen by facilitating platforms that will promote equal human rights for all and prioritization of the rural communities in accessing and developing enterprises for the economic development of Cannabis as a medicine, essential oil and edible / consumables. Our duty is to promote cannabis and hemp awareness about the proper facilitation and development of the retuning cannabis and hemp industry and thus contribute to the fight against poverty within the African continent
