February 2026 - Lake Louise / Sunshine Village / Revelstoke
Trip Dates: 2/18/26 to 2/26/26 ( 9 Days)
Introduction
Prepare for the ultimate Canadian Rockies adventure! This ski trip combines the breathtaking beauty of Banff National Park with the legendary terrain of Revelstoke Mountain Resort for an experience like no other. We’ll carve turns at Lake Louise and Sunshine Village, two of Banff’s most iconic ski destinations, offering everything from wide-open groomers to deep powder bowls. Then, we’ll head to Revelstoke, famous for its massive vertical drops and endless backcountry vibes—plus an adrenaline-packed snowmobiling excursion to take the thrill to the next level!
Beyond the slopes, we’ve planned plenty of fun to make this trip unforgettable! For the first half of the trip, we’ll be staying at the Rundlestone Lodge conveniently located near Banff’s ski resorts and the town of Banff, giving us easy access to both the mountains and local attractions. We’ll also take time to explore Lake Louise for some scenic snowshoeing. When we travel to Revelstoke, we’ll switch things up and stay in a private cabin—perfect for relaxing after big mountain days and our thrilling snowmobiling adventure. Expect delicious dinners, lively après-ski, and a few surprises along the way. Every guest will also receive a custom commemorative T-shirt to mark the occasion—because epic memories deserve a keepsake!
The estimated cost for this trip is $2,000.00 per person, which includes meals, transportation, lodging, lift tickets for Banff and Revelstoke, and the snowmobiling adventure. This figure is based on previous trips and careful planning to ensure a fair and accurate estimate. Payment is due in full by January 28th, 2026.

Lodging
For the first half of the trip, we’ll be staying at the Rundlestone Lodge in the heart of Banff. This cozy mountain lodge offers easy access to Lake Louise, Sunshine Village, and the charming town of Banff, making it the perfect base for skiing and snowshoeing adventures. Its warm alpine atmosphere and convenient location will make relaxing after a day on the slopes effortless.
When we head to Revelstoke, we’ll switch things up and stay at Chrissy’s Cabin, a private retreat nestled in the mountains. This cabin provides a rustic yet comfortable setting, ideal for unwinding after tackling Revelstoke’s legendary terrain and enjoying our snowmobiling excursion. Expect plenty of space for group dinners, cozy evenings by the fire, and that true backcountry vibe.
Meals
Throughout the trip, you can expect breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day, with locations and menus to be finalized closer to the date. We’ll aim for a mix of casual and memorable dining experiences, from cozy lodge breakfasts to hearty après-ski meals and relaxed dinners in town. While the exact spots are still to be determined, you can look forward to sampling Canadian classics like poutine, Alberta beef steaks, butter tarts, and perhaps even a taste of maple-glazed salmon or tourtière, a traditional meat pie. Whether it’s comfort food after a long day on the slopes or a celebratory dinner for Joe and Maggie’s anniversary, the meals will be an essential part of the experience.
Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Calgary
Arrive in Calgary and check into a nearby hotel for a relaxed evening after your flight. This first night is all about settling in and getting ready for the adventure ahead. You’ll have the option to grab a casual dinner or drinks before turning in.
Day 2 – Banff & Lake Louise
Travel to Banff and check into Rundlestone Lodge, a cozy mountain hotel perfectly located for easy access to the slopes and the town. The day will include exploring the area and enjoying scenic snowshoeing near Lake Louise, offering incredible views and a peaceful start to the trip.
Day 3 – Skiing at Lake Louise
Spend the day skiing at Lake Louise Ski Resort, one of Canada’s most iconic destinations known for its stunning terrain and breathtaking scenery. After a full day on the mountain, return to the lodge for a relaxed evening and a hearty meal.
Day 4 – Skiing at Sunshine Village
Head to Sunshine Village, famous for its wide-open runs and soft snow. The short, scenic drive adds to the experience, and the resort offers some of the best alpine terrain in the Rockies. After skiing, return to Banff for a cozy night at Rundlestone Lodge.
Day 5 – Travel to Revelstoke
Check out of Rundlestone Lodge and make the scenic drive to Revelstoke. Once there, settle into Chrissy’s Cabin, a private mountain retreat perfect for relaxing after big days on the slopes. Depending on timing, you may even sneak in some skiing before dinner.
Day 6 – Ski Revelstoke
Enjoy a full day at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, known for its massive vertical and legendary terrain. This is a bucket-list destination for skiers and riders looking for a challenge. Afterward, unwind at the cabin or explore Revelstoke’s local dining scene.
Day 7 – Ski or Snowmobile Adventure
Choose between another day of skiing at Revelstoke or an exciting guided snowmobile tour through the backcountry. Both options promise incredible views and plenty of thrills. The evening will be spent relaxing at the cabin and sharing stories from the day.
Day 8 – Return to Calgary
Enjoy a relaxed morning before making the scenic drive back to Calgary. The evening will be low-key, with time for dinner and rest before departure. It’s the perfect way to wind down after an action-packed trip.
Day 9 – Departure
An early start as we check out and head to the airport for the flight home. This marks the end of an unforgettable adventure filled with skiing, exploration, and great memories.

Known as the ‘Beast of the East,’ Killington offers over 1,500 acres of diverse terrain, from gentle groomers to challenging expert trails, plus breathtaking mountain views. Whether you’re carving fresh powder, enjoying après-ski at the lively base lodges, or exploring scenic snowshoe paths, this trip promises excitement for all skill levels. Pack your gear and get ready for an adventure filled with crisp mountain air, cozy vibes, and endless winter fun!
Beyond the slopes, we’ve planned some extra fun to make this trip truly memorable! We’ll be staying at a cozy Airbnb packed with a few exciting surprises (details coming in the Airbnb section), hosting a lively tailgate to keep the energy high, and giving every guest a free commemorative T-shirt to mark the occasion. It’s the perfect way to relax, celebrate, and create lasting memories after a day of skiing.
We’ll also be celebrating March birthdays for David, Maggie, and Joe—so expect some extra fun and surprises during the trip!

Our group will be staying at the charming ‘Hawk House’ chalet—a spacious, four-bedroom retreat nestled in Vermont’s scenic Green Mountains, just 7 miles from Killington Resort. With room for up to 10 guests, the chalet features nine cozy beds across three bathrooms, a full kitchen, and free parking on-site. Guests rave about the stunning mountain views and smooth, five-star check-in experience—thanks to a smart lock system that makes arrival a breeze. The highlight? A private hot tub and outdoor BBQ area perfect for unwinding after a day on the slopes. It’s the ideal home-away-from-home for a memorable ski retreat!
Specific lodging details—including the address, room assignments, Wi-Fi information, and access passcodes—will be shared privately via text in the trip group chat to ensure everyone has what they need 1 month before arrival.

Lunch - Join us at the Bear Mountain parking lot for a tailgate feast featuring mouthwatering options: juicy steak sandwiches layered with caramelized onions on toasted ciabatta rolls, tender grilled chicken topped with roasted red peppers and a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and hearty black bean burgers crowned with fresh Pico de Gallo and melted pepper jack cheese. A perfect way to refuel and celebrate after a day on the slopes!
Dinner - We’ll head to a local restaurant to celebrate the March birthdays—David, Maggie, and Joe—making it a festive and memorable evening with great food and company. Bill will be split by what you order, but paid by Joe and he will send Venmo or Zelle requests for your portion.
Saturday
Breakfast - Made-to-order pancakes just the way you like them—choose from classic plain, sweet blueberry, or rich banana. Please place your order the night before to ensure a fresh, delicious start to your morning.
Lunch - Lunch will be at the lodge, where everyone can choose their own meal and pay individually. Enjoy a variety of options while taking a break from the slopes!
Dinner - Tender chicken cordon bleu—crispy breaded chicken breast stuffed with savory ham and melted Swiss cheese—served alongside cavatelli pasta tossed with fresh broccoli for a hearty, comforting meal.
Sunday
Breakfast - A traditional Guatemalan breakfast featuring fluffy scrambled eggs sautéed with tomato, onion, adobo, black peppercorn, and a hint of red pepper flakes, served alongside a hearty portion of ham steak and creamy refried beans for an authentic, flavorful start to your day.

Itinerary
Day 1: Thursday March 12th, 2026
Arrival Day: Please let Joe know your expected arrival time via the trip group chat. Once you arrive, settle in at the Airbnb, kick back, and enjoy some board games with the group. Relax and recharge—we’ve got an early start tomorrow for a full day of skiing!
Day 2: Friday March 13th, 2026
Full Day of Skiing: Enjoy a full day on the slopes at Killington! At 1:00 PM, meet at Joe’s car in the Bear Mountain parking lot for a tailgate lunch with plenty of delicious options. After skiing, we’ll head back to the Airbnb at 4:00 PM to relax and freshen up. At 7:00 PM, we’ll head to a local restaurant for dinner and a special celebration of the March birthdays—David, Maggie, and Joe.
Day 3: Saturday March 14th, 2026
Another full day of skiing awaits! Enjoy the slopes at your own pace and grab lunch whenever you’d like at the lodge. At 4:00 PM, we’ll head back to the Airbnb to relax and unwind. Dinner will be a delicious home-cooked meal served at 7:00 PM, followed by board games and drinks for a cozy evening together.
Day 4: Sunday March 15th, 2026
Closing Day: Start the morning with a delicious home-cooked breakfast inspired by Guatemalan heritage. After breakfast, we’ll do a final sweep of the house to make sure everyone has their belongings. Departure is scheduled for 11:00 AM—safe travels home!
