This is my parent’s golden wedding cake. It was just the most beautiful cake - not an inch of white royal icing in sight! Shot with the Sigma F1.4 85mm which makes everything look wonderful.

As I was putting the final touches on this cake, my teen walked in and said “that’s the ugliest cake in the world.” So we scrapped the first idea, topped it with flowers and attempted to save it’s poor and unfortunate soul.
