The E-Waste Collection Kiosk has been started by Aadish Mehrotra, an internationally certified IT professional with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Over the years, he has witnessed the rapid pace at which electronic devices become outdated and obsolete. Unfortunately, a large portion of this discarded electronic waste is not processed responsibly in many parts of the country, leading to serious environmental and health concerns.
To address this growing issue and promote responsible disposal and recycling of electronic waste, this initiative was launched with the aim of creating awareness and providing a convenient solution for citizens to dispose of their old electronics safely.
Through the E-Waste Collection Kiosk and regular E-Waste Collection Drives, the initiative encourages individuals, housing societies, offices, and businesses to participate in environmentally responsible e-waste management practices. The goal is to ensure that discarded electronic items are collected, segregated, and processed through proper recycling channels instead of ending up in landfills or being handled unsafely.
