Ian's Portfolio: Explore My Journey

Welcome to my professional portfolio where I showcase my projects, research, and personal interests.

About Me

As a Computer Science graduate at UTEP with over 3.5 years of technical experience, I bridge the gap between rigorous systems engineering and creative design. My professional background ranges from leading an 8-member Agile team for a DoD DEVCOM project to developing automated AI solutions with 92% accuracy. This same drive for precision and aesthetic carries into my personal life, where I express my creativity by hand-painting custom designs on shoes and denim jackets. Whether I am architecting containerized Neo4j databases or collecting physical media like vinyl and CDs, I value the intersection of functional structure and artistic expression. A dedicated fan of indie and rock music—from The Strokes to classic guitar-driven sounds—I bring a rhythmic, disciplined approach to every line of code I write.

Beyond my technical career, I find balance through tactile creativity and a deep appreciation for music. Most of what drives my work - technical or creative - stems from a deep interest to solve a problem or simply to get people interested in my work as an artist. In the age of new technologies and human creativity, my aim as a developer and artist is to create tools, programs, and masterpieces to improve and move people in a meaningful way.
