The Author
I am Viacheslav Shilov, a professional editorial cartoonist, caricaturist, and illustrator. A graduate in Journalism and Press Design from Saint Petersburg State University, I spent many years working for the city's leading daily newspapers, where I maintained a daily cartoon column.
With extensive expertise in art direction, I spent ten years leading an international project uniting cartoonists from around the world. Since late 2022, I have been based in France.
I am a member of La Maison des Artistes, Cartooning for Peace, and United Sketches. A winner of numerous international awards, I also contributed to the design of the Nice Carnival (2006–2008). My editorial cartoons are published in the international press, and my ironic paintings are held in numerous private collections worldwide, spanning from Canada to Australia.

If my graphic style resonates with you, I can regularly send you a selection of my cartoons and satirical illustrations. To receive them, simply provide your preferred email address.
My work can be used to illustrate your articles or be published as standalone content. Regarding compensation, I am happy to work within the standard rates of your publication.
Additionally, I am available for custom assignments following a discussion of the subject matter and deadlines. I have all the necessary administrative details ready (SIRET number, invoicing, etc.) and am committed to providing the required documentation promptly.
