The Artist
Jocelyne
I was born in Bretagne(Brest). I am a passionate and professional artist with over 22 years of creative experience and 16 years of teaching art to both children and adults. My painting style is rooted in classical techniques and i work confidently across oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels and pencil.
My work portrays the influence of Richard Heindel, Mark Rotko, Jack Vettriano and the classics like Degas.
I am continuing my never ending research of the human body in each new painting, while expressing my own feelings.
The figures i paint are pensive and passionate at the same time. I paint from sketches and pictures that i am obsessively shooting.
I participated in group exhibitions and open houses and also in galleries and art shows. I have completed numerous commissioned pieces from lifelike portraits to beloved pet paintings.
