Master Storyteller

Keith Reels is a comic book writer, creator, animation storyteller, literary consultant, and creative developer with more than twenty years of experience creating original characters, developing expansive fictional worlds, strengthening story concepts, and exploring new possibilities within comics and animation. His creative philosophy is built around the belief that comic book storytelling should have the freedom to move beyond familiar formulas and traditional expectations.

Rather than limiting characters, abilities, worlds, or ideas simply because they fall outside conventional genre boundaries, Keith embraces originality, experimentation, and unrestricted imagination while still maintaining strong storytelling structure. His work focuses on creating stories that can be entertaining, cinematic, mysterious, dramatic, adventurous, humorous, and thought-provoking while remaining accessible to audiences with different interests and perspectives.

Over the course of his career, he has developed a deep understanding of character creation, narrative development, world-building, dialogue, mythology, action, and long-form storytelling, allowing him to take an idea from its earliest stages and explore how it can evolve into something much larger. For Keith, a strong concept is never just about what happens in one scene or one issue it is about understanding the people, conflicts, histories, environments, organizations, abilities, and unanswered questions that can make a fictional universe feel alive.

His objective has always been to give audiences the opportunity to move beyond the familiar and enter stories filled with new discoveries, unexpected possibilities, memorable personalities, and imaginative worlds they may want to continue exploring long after the initial story ends.

Characters, Worlds & Original Properties

Character development remains one of the strongest foundations of Keith Reels' creative approach. He believes characters should never exist simply to fill space within a story or move a plot from one event to another. Every important character should possess a recognizable identity, personality, history, motivations, strengths, weaknesses, relationships, conflicts, abilities, and opportunities for growth.

Keith is especially interested in allowing characters to reach their full creative potential rather than unnecessarily reducing their abilities or personalities to make room for other elements of the story. Instead, he focuses on developing challenges, consequences, opponents, emotional conflicts, moral decisions, and larger circumstances capable of making extraordinary characters meaningful.

His original and developing properties include The E-Zoxc Chronicles, The Invisible Case, and the Tri-Guard Saga, each representing a different side of his storytelling interests while sharing a commitment to originality, action, mystery, adventure, and evolving mythology. The Tri-Guard Saga, for example, includes characters such as Newtron, a warrior from a distant planet who is summoned into service with the Royal Tri-Guard Command and develops as a highly skilled martial artist, weapons specialist, strategist, leader, and commander.

Across his different projects, Keith seeks to create worlds that extend beyond the immediate storyline, incorporating civilizations, organizations, technologies, mysteries, rivalries, histories, and unexplored possibilities that give audiences the feeling that something larger exists beyond the page. His goal is to develop creative properties with enough depth that individual stories can stand on their own while still leaving opportunities for future characters, conflicts, discoveries, and adventures to naturally emerge.

Professional Writing & Creative Development

Beyond developing his own intellectual properties, Keith provides scriptwriting, creative consulting, literary support for media, original comic character creation, story development, world-building, dialogue development, and narrative expansion for other creators and entertainment projects.

He works closely with Cinematic Luxe Media, contributing his experience in writing and creative development to projects involving comics, animation, cinematic storytelling, and other forms of media. Keith's approach to collaboration is centered on strengthening a creator's original vision rather than replacing it.

His versatility allows him to adapt his writing to different formats while maintaining a strong focus on entertainment, character, pacing, and clarity. Keith's professional development experience has also included multiple pilot scripts submitted to major studios, with several having been accepted for consideration for potential future development. Those experiences have reinforced his understanding that ambitious imagination and professional presentation must work together: an original concept needs a clear entry point, a compelling character needs a meaningful journey, and an expansive universe needs enough structure for audiences and industry professionals to understand what makes it distinctive.

The Vision Moving Forward

Looking forward, Keith Reels continues to develop original comics, animated concepts, scripts, characters, and fictional universes with the potential to grow across comic books, animation, television, film, digital entertainment, and other forms of storytelling.

His goal is not to force every idea into a franchise, but to create strong enough foundations that expansion remains possible when the story and audience support it. Keith believes the most memorable creative properties often begin with ideas that initially seem too unusual, ambitious, unpredictable, or difficult to categorize, and his work is driven by the willingness to explore those possibilities instead of immediately restricting them.

At the center of everything remains the audience the people who want to encounter characters they have never seen, travel to worlds they have never imagined, uncover mysteries they want answered, and experience stories capable of surprising them. After more than two decades of creativity, Keith continues to approach each project with the same curiosity that inspired him to begin creating: discovering how far a character, concept, or universe can truly go when given the freedom to develop.

Through his original properties, professional collaborations, creative services, and future projects, Keith is building a body of work centered on imagination, individuality, strong character development, and lasting entertainment. His creative direction can ultimately be summarized through the qualities he continues striving to bring to every project:

Original. Provocative. Climactic. Unimaginable. Epic.
