๐ก๐ก๐กPolish MedTech 2025: 5 Market Shifts โ Insights from Active Recruitment Projects๐ก
1. Poland = EMEA Hub
โญ More and more global companies are moving their sales and support functions to Warsaw, Wrocลaw, and Krakรณw.
โญ Candidates with excellent English + German/French are in high demand and see fast salary growth.
๐ธTip: Start by checking who you can upskill in languages โ often cheaper than another raise.
2. 2-in-1 Profiles: Clinical + Sales
โญ Doctors now expect to speak with someone who understands MDR and knows how to sell.
โญ In March 2025, I delivered a shortlist of high-performing cardiology applicants (Warsaw) with >10M PLN targetโin just 17 days.
๐ธTip: In job ads, be clear: โ70% clinical / 30% salesโ โ it saves time on both sides.
3. Service Engineers Wanted (Itโs Not Just Screwdrivers Anymore)
โญ AI labs and automation require people who can install devices, update firmware, and coordinate with hospital IT.
๐ธTip: When buying expensive equipment, set aside budget for recruiting and retaining a service engineer.
4. QA/RA Roles Growing Faster than Sales
โญ ~20% of hiring inquiries in 2024/25 involve MDR/IVDR; freelancer rates +10% YoY.
๐ธTip: A 3-month B2B consultant with clear deliverables can handle audits while you recruit a full-time employee transparently in parallel.
5. Example Positions โ 2025 vs. 2023 Salary Ranges (PL, gross base)
โข Field Service Engineer: 12โ14k PLN (โ +20%)
โข QA/RA Specialist: 15โ16k PLN (โ +10%)
โข Key Account Manager (Europe-wide): 22โ24k PLN (โ +18%)
What Can You Do Tomorrow?
๐ธTip: List your critical vacancies โ one missing key person can stall sales or certification.
๐ธTip: Talk to candidates 3โ6 months before you actually need them.
๐ธTip: Specialized headhunter โ I run max. 2โ3 projects at a time, so I deliver a tailored shortlist within 7โ14 days.
Challenging searches may take longer, but I stay with them until completion โ they donโt just โfall off the conveyor beltโ like in large agencies.
This reduces downtime, cuts hidden costs, and lets you focus on business growth.
If any of these trends affect your company and youโd like to explore them further, just message me.
Iโll gladly share current market insights and proven strategies โ always with full respect for my clients' and candidatesโ confidentiality.
Talk to you soon!

A few thoughts on whatโs not visible on the screen...
When the pandemic hit, remote work was a lifesaver for many.
No more commuting, working in the comfort of home, with a cup of your favorite coffee at hand. You could work in peace โ and save time and nerves along the way.
For me, and for many people Iโve spoken with, it was a time of new rhythm and fresh energy.
Today, a few years later, the situation is shifting. More and more companies are opting for hybrid models โ combining the comfort of home with the value of being part of a team.
Thereโs no one-size-fits-all formula โ some people still prefer to work fully remotely and have valid reasons to do so.
Remote work undeniably has major advantages:
๐กsaving time on commuting
๐กgreater flexibility in daily routine
๐กthe ability to work from anywhere
๐กpeace and focus โ crucial in many roles
But โ and this is important โ I also see the other side of the coin.
Longer periods of isolation, working with little to no direct contact, can deeply affect well-being.
I speak with candidates who, after years of remote work, feel burned out, lonely, disconnected from their teams.
And itโs no coincidence.
Research, including from the American Psychological Association, shows that the lack of social connection significantly impacts mental and physical health.
The WHO even recognizes loneliness as a serious public health threat.
You might feel professionally accomplished โ and yet still feel somethingโs missing inside. That โsomethingโ is often human connection.
Thatโs why, if we work remotely โ and I do myself โ itโs worth consciously investing in relationships:
๐กschedule a coffee with someone
๐กattend an industry event
๐กwork occasionally from a coworking space
๐กsimply step out for a walk
๐กand yes โ believe me, the gym helps :-)
And you know what? The more I work with โfieldโ professionals โ salespeople, application specialists, consultants โ the more I see that they often have the richest social networks.
If connecting with others boosts immunity, lowers stress, and gives life meaning โ maybe theyโre actually the healthiest?
Iโm not saying remote work is bad โ absolutely not.
But itโs worth remembering that what looks convenient at first glance may come at a cost if we donโt keep balance in check.
You can work remotely and be effective. But to stay healthy โ you need human connection.
