Work Experience

I have been part of a summer children’s camp for 14 years, first as a camper and now as an instructor and I absolutely love it. Each year has a fun theme like pirates, Harry Potter, or ancient Egypt, where we teach life skills such as chopping wood, building shelters, cooking over a fire, and even Morse code. Being immersed in nature makes you feel far from the rest of the world, with little time to even look at your phone, all while sharing the same emotions with the kids that I once experienced myself. It’s an incredibly fulfilling way to help children grow confidence and independence in a supportive and creative environment. Its interesting how a lot of communication skill I've been able to develop through this experience.

Education and work experience asideI’m someone who values connection and discovery, I love meeting new people, exploring different cultures, and saying yes to experiences that help me grow. Traveling, reading, and diving into music, dance, or a good movie all feed my curiosity, especially since I’m a huge crime and mystery fan who enjoys any story that keeps me guessing.Community is also a big part of my life. From playing volleyball to volunteering at the summer camp I’ve been part of since childhood, I’ve learned how much I enjoy being part of a team and making a positive difference. Kindness, curiosity, and a love of learning guide me, and I try to carry those with me into every relationship, adventure, and new chapter.

I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Neli, and I can confidently say she would be an asset to any team. Her work ethic is exceptional she consistently takes initiative, follow through on commitment and set a high standard for those around her. She is a natural leader who knows how to motivate others while staying incredibly reliable and steady under pressure.Her creativity and problem-solving abilities stand out as well, she approaches challenges with a thoughtful, solutions-oriented mindset and often find effective approaches others might overlook. Nela is one of the deepest and most extraordinary people I have ever met. When we first crossed paths, I honestly thought we wouldn’t get along on the outside, we seemed so different.
