At Rainmaker Girls Club Basketball, we are dedicated to providing the skills, tactics, and nurturing confidence of young female athletes in Prince George and northern BC.We field teams and offer training to girls from the U11 ages through to U17.Join us to unlock your potential and elevate your game. Empowering Young Female Athletes

Our skill development training focuses on enhancing individual basketball skills such as shooting, dribbling, and passing. We provide personalized coaching to ensure each player improves and excels on the court.

Skill Development Training

We organize friendly competitive games to give players a chance to apply their skills in real-game situations. This experience helps them adapt to different playing styles and build resilience.

Competitive Game Play

We provide mentorship opportunities that encourage young athletes to develop leadership skills both on and off the court. Players learn the importance of being role models and supporting their teammates.

Mentorship and Leadership Training

Our fitness programs focus on enhancing players' physical conditioning, agility, and strength to improve overall performance. We incorporate fun exercises to keep the training engaging and effective. All training is age appropriate and body-weight based.

Fitness and Conditioning Programs

We teach fundemental, age and skill appropriate team &amp; individual tactics &amp; strategies to help players understand game dynamics and improve teamwork. Our sessions emphasize communication and collaboration on the court. Resources are based through the LTAD and Canada Basketball.

Team Tactics and Strategy

By providing safe learning environments where mistakes can be made, self-esteem and confidence is built among young athletes through positive reinforcement and mental conditioning. Players learn to overcome challenges and believe in their abilities.

Our Services

There is small basketball court near my house that’s right next to the beach. Most every night I walk my 5-year-old down to the playground and take in the amazing sunset. She plays while I read a book, listen to a podcast. Except for tonight where I watched a pickup basketball game between strangers. It was cool to me how upon arriving at the court, these guys didn’t know each other, but in a matter a few minutes of playing, each person knew their role, knew the goal and depended on each other to accomplish that goal.

Coach Troy has over 18 years of coaching experience from working with the PGMBA, school district teams, Basketball BC zone teams to coaching university women. Specializing in the U11 through U16 age groups Troy emphasizes building mental resilience and confidence in young athletes. He is dedicated to creating a supportive environment that encourages growth and skill mastery.

Season 2026 is about to begin! If you are looking to improve your basketball skills and have some fun doing it, let us know and we will send out our information and sign up sheet!Season goes from mid March through to July long weekend when we attend the Great Canadian Shootout tournament in Edmonton, AB! A great way to end the club season.
