Quickstop Stopping feature #1 Lower the upper deflection wheel
By a special designed mechanism the upper wheel is lowered and the saw blade is without tension. That means the saw blade is without driving force. It can be stopped easily.

The electro-mechanical driven brake modul activates 2 brake wedges.
The design of the brake wedges and counterparts enable a selfenformment brake function. Even if there is some wear the brke modul is balancing this by itself. Maintaining the powerful stopping of the sawblade.

The fully encapsulated high speed camera superwises the critical area.

Main purpose is to activate the Quickstop bacause the hand is hiddden.
It could happen that the hand of operator is covered by the product to be cut. Th camera won´t be able to detect the glove. The operator wears on each hand a conductive glove. Each glove is connected to the evaluation unit by means of two wires. If one wire is not connected the machine won´t start or in case the machine is running a Quickstop is activated. In the worse scenario the glove is touching the saw blade while machine is running. In this situation a ultra fast stop is vital. However a injury cannot fully avoided as the Quickstop system needs milliseconds of time to be activated.
