Lotus Kaleidoscope 3D Render 1. In other posts, I've written about working in HoudiniFX using voxels, or points, and how I explored these processes to think about Buddhist concepts, Buddhist elements, or Buddhist icons -- all to explore art that I three images is exploring the lotus using a procedural kaleidoscope.

Lotus Kaleidoscope 3D Render 3. Of course, because this is all 3D, a camera go in and out of all the layers, and at different depth. My interest was to simply create a straight-forward camera so the lotus shape would be clear.

Lotus Kaleidoscope 3D Render 2. These images evolved after doing a tutorial from another Houdini user. This was quite a while ago, or I would include his name, so sorry. Kudos to SideFX though for the community they've created by bringing so many talented users together. Just like Unsplash does! By creating the art procedurally, every frame is a 3D model, thus any of these images can be 3D printed. However, I'm just exploring a direction of a motion graphic type animation.
