Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find an educator?
Contact SAND CHILD CARE SERVICES on 0410 702 227 or via email to sandchildcare@gmail.com
A service staff will assign an educator who can tailor the delivery of suitable education and care for your child.
What is the cost of care for a day?
The fees are matched to the Government's hourly capped rate each financial year to enable the families to receive the optimal childcare subsidy benefit.
How do I pay for the care?
The payment is required in advance of two weeks of care (a fortnight). If your eligibility for Child Care Subsidies (CCS) is already assessed, an estimate of the gap fees for the permanent scheduled days will be calculated and recovered by way of direct debit.
You will receive an invoice fortnightly with these details.
Do I have to pay fees for public holidays?
If your child's permanent schedule day falls on a public holiday and you would have otherwise attended care, you will be required to pay fees for that day.
Can I visit the daycare before enrolling my child?
Absolutely, we encourage parents to visit our family day care, meet our educators, and see their facilities before making a decision.
What are the operating hours?
While the standard hours are between 8am to 6pm, each educator will be flexible to accommodate your care needs for your child.
How do you ensure the safety of children in care?
