Passionate Community of Learners
At Tech and Coding Club, based in Ethiopia, we are a group of dedicated students committed to creating an engaging and inclusive environment for technology enthusiasts. Founded with the vision of nurturing innovation and practical skills, our club offers a unique platform for students to explore robotics, coding, and technology in a supportive setting. Our hybrid model of operation, combining minimal in-person meetings with regular online sessions, allows members to balance their busy schedules while staying actively involved throughout the year.
Flexible and Engaging Hybrid Model
Our club conducts no more than three in-person meetings annually, designed to maximize hands-on experience and peer interaction. These sessions kick off with an orientation to introduce robotics fundamentals and set clear expectations. A follow-up orientation assigns project groups and addresses any student questions, ensuring everyone feels confident and prepared. The final session welcomes newcomers with a beginner-friendly overview, making the world of technology accessible and exciting for all. Between these, members engage in online discussions and project collaborations, fostering continuous learning and teamwork.
Year-Long Challenges and Recognition
To ignite curiosity and encourage active participation, we host a year-long Q&A Challenge where students earn points by engaging with club activities and demonstrating inquisitiveness. The top 10 scorers receive certificates that recognize their dedication and achievements. This gamified approach not only motivates members to deepen their knowledge but also builds a vibrant community of learners passionate about technology and innovation. Project Competition
Form a team of five and dive into a hands-on challenge rooted in real-world problems.
