Thabosivunocourse Vehicle Return Policy
At Thabosivunocourse, there are hundreds of vehicles for sale and rentals, ranging from nearly new, with very low kilometres to well-used cars with substantial kilometres and wear, needing reconditioning, mechanical checks, servicing and repair. The Thabosivunocourse return policy therefore differentiates between lower kilometre “Category A” and well-used “Category B” vehicles.
Thabosivunocourse is committed to compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (“CPA”) and all returns are handled in accordance with the CPA and as agreed to between the parties in terms of the applicable Terms and Conditions. In compliance with our regulatory obligations under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001, we may be required to freeze any property in our possession which belongs to you, including monies or vehicles, if it is found that you are sanctioned by a competent sanctioning body.
How does the Thabosivunocourse Return Policy work?
Category A Vehicles
Category A vehicles may be returned within a 6-month period under the following conditions:
There has to be an undisclosed defect in the vehicle (Mechanical issues caused by misuse are excluded.)
You will be required to provide proof of such defect.
Wear and tear caused by use and mechanical issues caused by misuse are specifically excluded.
Since vehicles are goods which devalue with use, you will be liable for the usage of the vehicle, any damages inflicted on it and roadworthy costs.
The vehicle usage cost will be calculated by multiplying the kilometres driven by the official AA usage rates.
In instances where you qualify for a return, you will have the option of requesting a repair, replacement or a refund.
Category B Vehicles
With the sale of Category B vehicles, Thabosivunocourse limits its liability in terms of the CPA (as we are allowed to do) by pointing the following out to you:
These vehicles are older, well used vehicles and may not be in good working order and may require a combination of minor and major repairs, mechanical checks and servicing.
Thabosivunocourse therefore limits its responsibility and liability and will only allow customers to return vehicles under specific conditions as set out in the CPA.
Please refer to the Terms and Conditions governing the purchase of Category B vehicles.
