We Stand So No One Is Forgotten
The Guardian Foundation is a 501(c)(3) community-driven nonprofit rooted in aloha, kuleana, 'ohana and lōkahi. We serve Service Members, Veterans, their Families, First Responders, Challenged Youth, and Hawaiʻi’s rural communities by providing culturally grounded, holistic support that strengthens mind, body, and spirit.

No task is too big when done together by all!
Our mission extends beyond awareness—we actively promote mental well-being. We build partnerships that empower healing and resilience through outreach services & referrals (housing, food, assistance), educational classes (peer-to-peer support, financial guidance, VA benefits navigation, suicide prevention training (ASIST, safeTALK, MHFA, QPR), financial guidance, VA benefits navigation, resources (work apprenticeships, scholarships) and programs (skill-building, workshops) and ʻohana-centered programs. We also proudly support TWV HI through initiatives like Coffee with Vets, Any Is Too Many, and The Battle Buddy Network.
In the fight against PTSD, depression, and suicide, the most dangerous moment is when someone believes they no longer matter. We stand in that gap—restoring connection, purpose, and hope.
Through collaboration with 75+ partners, resource fairs, cultural practices, and community engagement, we ensure no one is forgotten.
From art & hula to cleanups, gardening & outdoor recreation, we try to be there for our rural communities to help their mental well-being.
We stand so no one is forgotten.
