At The Meow Palace, every cat’s safety, comfort and care is always our number one priority. Recently, a customer brought in a white Persian cat whose coat had never been properly groomed. She had a lot of dead and damaged fur, and matter including waste stuck to her coat. They booked our Premium Grooming Package, and we got straight to work: we trimmed her nails, removed all excess fur, carefully cleaned and sanitised the soiled areas, gave her a full gentle bath with cat‑safe products, dried her thoroughly, and made sure she was calm and happy. When the customer came to collect her, he inspected her fully, was extremely happy with the work, paid in full and signed our paperwork to confirm he was completely satisfied. Two hours later, he messaged me being rude, aggressive and making false claims — saying I had not washed her properly. I explained that I had carefully cleaned that sensitive area, and avoided harsh chemicals there as they can irritate a cat’s skin; I also pointed out that cats often use their litter tray after a groom, which can leave marks. I offered straight away: “Please bring her back completely free of charge and I will check and re‑clean anything you are worried about.” He did not bring her back, kept disappearing, then returned late at night to continue harassing me. He also left false reviews telling me to change my job, claiming I overcharged and did nothing — even though I have photos, messages and his signed confirmation that he was happy when he left. It is truly upsetting to have my hard work and good intentions treated like this. I run my business with love, care and honesty — I would never do anything to hurt or neglect any cat.
