Step 1: Create the Mailbox inside Cloudbox
If you are using Ken well’s built-in mail server dashboard:
Log into your Kenwell / Cloudbox admin portal.
Navigate to Email Management, Mailboxes, or User Management.
Click Create New Inbox (or Add User).
Enter your desired email address (e.g., name@yourdomain.com) and create a secure password.

Step 2: Configure Your DNS Records
1. SPF Record (Sender Policy Framework)
Type: TXT
Host: @
Value: v=spf1 include:cloudboxtech.com ~all (Note: Double-check your specific Kenwell onboarding document to see if they provided a custom SMTP relay string here).
2. DKIM Record (DomainKeys Identified Mail)
Type: TXT
Host: cloudbox._domainkey (or the specific selector provided in your portal)
Value: (Paste the long string of public key text generated inside your Cloudbox email settings dashboard).
3. DMARC Record
Type: TXT
Host: _dmarc
Value: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc-reports@yourdomain.com
Tip: Change yourdomain.com to your actual domain so you can receive security reports if anyone tries to spoof your identity.
Step 3: Mail Client Connection Settings (IMAP/SMTP)
If you want to read and send emails from this new inbox using an external client (like Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, or a cold email tool like Instantly/Smartlead), use these standard connection protocols:

Step 4: Final Verification
use a free tool like MxToolbox or Mail-tester.com to send a test email
to send a test email. It will analyze your setup and give you a green light confirming that your Kenwell-hosted Cloudbox inbox is fully authenticated and ready to go.
