Vivid Venture ("we", "us") provides 3D printing and business automation services from New Zealand. This page explains what personal information we handle and why.

Information we collect

When you contact us. Our contact form asks for your email address and name, and optionally your phone number and a message. We use these to reply to you and to discuss work you have asked about.

When you engage us for work. We handle the information needed to carry out that work and to invoice for it, typically contact details and correspondence.

Website use. Our website is hosted by a third-party provider, which may record standard technical information such as IP addresses and browser type as part of operating the site.

How we use it

We use the information above to respond to enquiries, to carry out work we have been asked to do, to send invoices, and to keep our own business records. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details to send marketing you did not ask for.

Information we handle for our clients

Some of our automation work involves building systems that collect or move information on a client's behalf, for example moving sales enquiries from an advertising platform into that client's own records.

Where that happens, the client decides what is collected and why, and we act on their instructions. We are not the right people to ask about that information. If you submitted your details to one of our clients and want to know how they are used, please contact that business directly. We can pass a request on if you are not sure who to ask.

Who else is involved

We use third-party services to run our business, for example website hosting, email, file storage and automation tools. These providers handle information on our behalf in order to provide those services, and some of them operate outside New Zealand.

We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

Keeping information

We keep information for as long as we have a working relationship with you, and afterwards where we need it for our records, for tax purposes, or to deal with any question that comes up about work we did. When we no longer need it, we take steps to remove it.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, including limiting who can access it and relying on established service providers for storage and transmission. No system can be guaranteed secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Where the information belongs to one of our clients rather than to us, we will tell you and, where we can, point you to the right business.
