GAHSA Community Impact Civic Reward Program
Help Us Transform Georgia Communities—And Be Recognized for Your Impact
Do you see vacant or distressed properties in your neighborhood that could become homes for families in need? Your local knowledge and civic engagement are invaluable to our mission of revitalizing communities and creating affordable housing.
The GAHSA Community Impact Civic Reward Program recognizes and rewards community members—individuals, real estate professionals, and concerned citizens—who help us identify properties that can be transformed into safe, affordable housing for Low-to-Moderate Income families.
This Program is For Everyone
Whether you're:
- A concerned neighbor who walks past a vacant property every day
- A real estate agent who specializes in distressed properties
- A community advocate passionate about affordable housing
- A property manager who knows which buildings need attention
- A mail carrier, delivery driver, or anyone who notices properties in need
If you care about your community and want to make a difference, there's a place for you in this program.
What We're Looking For
- Vacant residential properties (single-family, duplexes, small multifamily)
- Distressed properties needing attention: tall grass, broken windows, trash not picked up
- Properties that have become the eye-sore of the block
Every property you report could become a home for a family waiting for safe, stable housing. Every report helps us understand where the need is greatest. Every successful acquisition is a neighborhood transformed, a community revitalized, and a family given hope.
This isn't just about finding properties—it's about rebuilding communities and restoring dignity for families who deserve better.
Join the GAHSA Community Impact Civic Reward Program today and be part of Georgia's affordable housing solution.
How It Works:
Step 1: Find a Rundown Property and Send Us the Address
Help us identify properties in need of help. Report vacant or run-down homes in your neighborhood, and send us the address. Go to the Submit Your Address Registration Form. Click on the link at the top of the page.
Step 2: We Research The Property
We must be able to find the owner or an heir if the owner is deceased.
Our team researches the property, contacts owners, and explores acquisition opportunities. When we are successful in getting the property rehabed and ready for placement of a LMI family you will become one of our Community Civic Champions. We are not always successful but will always let you know the outcome.
Step 3: You Get Rewarded
When a property you reported successfully closes and enters our affordable housing program, you receive:
-A Community Impact Thank You Certificate (perfect for framing)
-A Community Civic Reward
-Recognition on our Community Civic Champions Page on this website as appreciation for your civic engagement.
