PrologoNel tumulto dei ricordi assopiti nelle profondità dell’inconscio, là dove la verità sfiora i confini dell’immaginazione, il mio cuore richiama da un tempo lontano quei giorni che il passato ha sepolto sotto le proprie macerie, erigendovi sopra silenziose rovine.Eppure alcune rovine non restano mute per sempre…Giunge sempre l’istante in cui il passato ritorna a parlare, reclamando dai cuori un conto rimasto troppo a lungo sospeso.Torna, o tempo… oppure lascia che sia io a raggiungerti, attraversando queste rovine.Cavalcherò l’ostinata realtà; e se dovessi fallire, monterò allora il destriero impetuoso dell’immaginazione. Perché la realtà, ai miei occhi, non è che l’ombra sbiadita di un sogno più profondo, o un dipinto d’illusioni i cui colori svaniscono troppo in fretta. Realtà e immaginazione — in fondo — non sono che due volti della stessa verità, una verità che da sempre mi seduce e mi chiama alla scoperta.Io sono l’ombra di Wanis.Un’ombra che gli sta alle spalle, proteggendolo dall’arsura del passato che ancora si leva dalle tombe dell’oblio.Accolgo l’eco dei miei pensieri, e li vedo riflettersi nelle sue azioni. Ma vi sono momenti in cui egli mi precede, come se decidesse prima ancora che la mia decisione prenda forma.Allora gli concedo la libertà di essere ciò che desidera.Non sono uno spirito che lo possiede, né un fantasma che abita il suo corpo; sono soltanto una presenza silenziosa che veglia sulle profondità della sua anima.Lo vedo da dove egli non può vedermi, e invoco la sincerità che vive in lui. Gli parlo da dove egli non può udirmi, e tuttavia la sua saggezza sembra ascoltarmi.Eppure, non di rado dubito delle sue intenzioni quando i nostri pensieri si allontanano e le nostre strade divergono. In quei momenti mi sottraggo ai suoi inganni e mi rifugio nei luoghi della verità, lasciandogli le sue azioni e custodendo il mio giudizio in un silenzio paziente.Intraprenderemo insieme — caro lettore — un viaggio attraverso le pagine di questa storia: un viaggio in cui io racconterò la mia parte di realtà, mentre l’immaginazione dirà ciò che la realtà non ha saputo confessare.Questa non sarà una narrazione di capitoli ordinari, ma una successione di episodi che vi guideranno in un’esperienza dove realtà e immaginazione si abbracciano nella superficie degli eventi, pur restando distanti nelle loro profondità.

<h3>A narrative journey where memory meets imagination, and the past rises from the ruins to reclaim its voice.</h3>Amid the crowded silence of memories resting in the depths of the unconscious—where truth brushes the edges of imagination—my heart summons from distant time those days the past has buried beneath its ruins, raising above them silent remnants of what once was.Yet some ruins do not remain silent forever.There comes a moment when the past finds its voice again, demanding from the heart an account long deferred.Return, O time… or allow me to journey toward you through these ruins.I shall mount the stubborn horse of reality; and if it refuses me, I will ride instead the restless steed of imagination. For reality, as I see it, is but the faded reflection of a deeper dream, a painting of illusions whose colors vanish too quickly. Reality and imagination are, in truth, merely two faces of the same mystery—one that forever calls me toward discovery.I am the shadow of Wanis.A shadow that stands behind him, shielding him from the burning breath of a past rising still from the graves of oblivion.I gather the whispers of my thoughts and watch them echo through his actions. Yet there are moments when he steps ahead of me, as though he decides before my own decision has even taken shape.In those moments, I grant him the freedom to be what he chooses.I am no spirit that possesses him, nor a phantom dwelling within his body. I am only a quiet presence, watching over the depths of his soul.I see him from where he cannot see me, and I call forth the honesty within him. I speak to him from where he cannot hear me, and yet his wisdom seems to listen.Still, there are times when I doubt his intentions, when our thoughts drift apart and our paths divide. Then I withdraw from his cunning and take refuge in the sanctuaries of truth, leaving him to his actions while I fold my judgment into a patient silence.Together, dear reader, we shall embark upon a journey through the pages of this story—a journey in which I will tell my share of reality, while imagination reveals what reality itself could not speak.This will not be a tale told in ordinary chapters, but a sequence of unfolding moments guiding you through an experience where reality and imagination embrace upon the surface of events, even as they remain distant in their depths.&nbsp;

When the Past Rises from the Ruins: Excerpt from My Novel "Hijrat al-Atlal"  

<h3>رحلة سردية تتقاطع فيها الذاكرة مع الخيال، حيث يستعيد الماضي صوته من بين الأطلال، ويكشف الراوي الظل عن حكاية تتأرجح بين الحقيقة والحلم.</h3>في زحام الذكريات المتراكمة في أعماق اللاوعي، حيث تلامس الحقيقة أطراف الخيال، يستدعي قلبي من الزمن البعيد تلك الأيام التي دفنها الماضي، وأقام فوقها أطلاله الصامتة.لكن بعض الأطلال لا تبقى صامتة إلى الأبد… فهناك لحظة يعود فيها الماضي ليتكلم، ويطالب القلوب بحسابٍ طال تأجيله.عد يا زمن… أو دعني أرتحل إليك من بين هذه الأطلال.سأمتطي صهوة الواقع العنيد، وإن عجزت، فلأركبن جواد الخيال الوثّاب؛ فما الواقع في نظري إلا صورة باهتة من خيال أعمق، أو لوحة من الأوهام سرعان ما تتلاشى ألوانها. كلاهما—الواقع والخيال—ليس إلا وجهين لحقيقة واحدة تغريني دائمًا بالاكتشاف.أنا ظلّ ونيس.ظلّ يقف خلفه، يحتمي من هجير الماضي المتصاعد من مقابر النسيان. أتلقى الوحي من أفكاري فتنعكس على أفعاله، غير أنه في بعض اللحظات يتراجع، لأنه يقرر قبل أن يتشكل قراري.عندها أترك له حرية أن يكون كما يريد.لست جنًّا يتلبسه، ولا طيفًا يسكن جسده، بل حضور خفي يراقب أعماقه. أراه من حيث لا يراني، فأناجي فيه صدقه. وأحادثه من حيث لا يسمعني، فتصغي إليّ حكمته.ومع ذلك، كثيرًا ما أشك في بعض نواياه حين تتباعد أفكارنا وتتفرّق دروبنا. عندها أتنصّل من مكره، وألوذ بملاذات الصدق، تاركًا له أفعاله، مطويًا رأيي في صمت حكيم.سنرتحل معًا—أيها القارئ—في رحلة عبر صفحات هذه القصة؛ رحلة أحكي لكم فيها نصيبي من الواقع، ويروي لكم الخيال ما عجز الواقع عن قوله.لن تكون هذه الرواية فصولًا تقليدية، بل حلقات تتوالى، تقودكم إلى تجربة يتعانق فيها الواقع والخيال في ظاهر الأحداث، ويتباعدان في أعماقها.&nbsp;&nbsp;
