Frequently Asked Questions
What is the current status of the experiment? (updated mid-March 2026)
The experiment is live. So far, all bookings came from people already in the coaching world. That's interesting, but it doesn't settle the bet. I need people who have never been near a coaching session, people who have no idea what coaching is, people who think it might be nonsense. Especially those. If that's you, this experiment is specifically waiting for you.
Who are you?
My name is Davor Čengija.
I'm a coach. I've spent 15 years working with leaders, founders and teams in growing companies, helping them navigate the messy human stuff that comes with building something meaningful.
I'm a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, trained in how people actually change. But credentials aren't the point. What matters is whether the conversation helps you get unstuck.
What I actually do
I don't give advice, I don't mentor, I don't hand you a to-do list. Coaching is a structured conversation where I ask questions, challenge assumptions and help you see what's hard to see when you're inside it.
What I bring is an outside perspective. I'm not tangled up in your world, your history or your assumptions about how things work. Sometimes that's exactly what's needed.
What I believe
Most people don't need more advice. They need someone to think with, someone who'll ask the hard questions and won't let them off the hook.
Getting unstuck isn't about finding the right answer. It's about seeing your situation clearly enough that the next step becomes obvious.
What to expect from a coaching session?
45 minutes, video call, one-on-one. No homework, no worksheets, no frameworks.
You bring something real - a decision you're wrestling with, a pattern you're stuck in, a situation that's not working. I ask questions designed to surface what's actually going on, not just what's on the surface. I challenge assumptions and I notice things you might not see because you're too close to it.
You do the thinking, I help you think better.
What I bring
Structure: this isn't venting or casual advice; an outside perspective: I'm not in your world, so I see what's hard to see from the inside; and training: I'm a PCC-certified coach with the International Coaching Federation, I know how people actually change, not just how to give advice.
What I don't do
I don't give advice, I don't mentor, I don't fix things for you. You leave with clarity, not a to-do list from me.
What helps
Come with something specific. Be honest, be open to being challenged - uncomfortable questions are the point.
