USOAD Announces Launch of Kiswahili Self-Paced, Pre-recorded Courses

Through strategic partnerships with the University of the State of the African Diaspora (USOAD), various educational institutions are now able to offer accredited programs under a collaborative framework that emphasizes Afro-centric and Indigenous knowledge systems. As an approved umbrella institution, USOAD serves as a conduit for academic recognition and validation, allowing partner universities and learning centers to deliver accredited degrees, diplomas, and certifications aligned with decolonized curricula and global standards. Entrepreneurial Incubation Hub

This program is designed as a clear and engaging introduction to Kiswahili for learners at the foundational level. The course is composed of 7 sections, each with short 15–20 minute pre-recorded lessons, combining essential language instruction with cultural knowledge. Learners will gain confidence in greetings, everyday conversation, sentence building, and heritage awareness, culminating in a final assessment that unlocks their certificate of completion.A self-paced pathway to conversational Kiswahili and cultural connection.

<ul><li>Full Refund (within 7 days of registration):<ul><li>Learners who cancel their registration within 7 days of enrolment are eligible for a 100% refund of all fees paid.</li></ul></li><li>Cancellation prior to full payment cut-off date:<ul><li>Cancellations made after 7 days of registration but before the cut-off date for full course fee payment will incur a 10% administrative fee.</li><li>The remaining 90% of the course fee will be refunded.</li></ul></li><li>Cancellation after full payment cut-off date but before course commencement:<ul><li>Cancellations made after the cut-off date full payment made, but prior to the official start of the course will incur a 20% administrative fee.</li><li>The remaining 80% of the course fee will be refunded.</li></ul></li><li>No Refund after Course Commencement:<ul><li>Once the course has officially started, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances, as student will have received the full Course material.</li></ul></li><li>Refund Processing:<ul><li>All approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of receiving a written cancellation request.</li><li>Refunds will be made via the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.</li><li>If you ever disagree with a refund decision, you can ask us to review it in writing. Internal Review<ul><li>The Platform will review all disputes and provide a written response within 14 business days.</li><li>If further information is required, students will be contacted directly.</li></ul>4. Mediation<ul><li>If the student is not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review, the dispute will be referred to confidential mediation conducted by an independent, neutral mediator.</li><li>Both parties agree to participate in good faith in an attempt to resolve the dispute amicably.</li></ul>5. Legal Proceedings<ul><li>If mediation fails to resolve the dispute, the matter shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.</li><li>This policy and any dispute arising under it shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.</li></ul>6.
