Van Jan Sewa Samiti: Championing Forest Conservation and Community Welfare in Jashpur
Our Mission and Roots
Van Jan Sewa Samiti is a dedicated non-profit, non-governmental, and non-religious organization established in Jashpur, Chhattisgarh, with registration under the Societies Act since August 8, 2011. Founded by Shri Ganesh Ram Chouhan, our organization is deeply committed to the welfare of forest ecosystems and the indigenous communities that rely on them. We focus primarily on the Jashpur district and surrounding areas, striving to create a harmonious balance between nature and human livelihoods.
Expertise in Forest Conservation and Community Support
With years of experience in environmental stewardship, Van Jan Sewa Samiti specializes in promoting sustainable resource management and ecological balance. Our team works closely with local communities to spread awareness about the vital role forests play in maintaining biodiversity and environmental health. We facilitate education and training programs that empower forest-dependent populations to protect their natural surroundings while improving their socio-economic conditions through sustainable practices.
Unique Approach to Sustainable Development
What sets Van Jan Sewa Samiti apart is our holistic approach that integrates environmental conservation with community development. We engage directly with indigenous people, fostering a sense of ownership and responsibility towards forest preservation. By encouraging sustainable livelihoods aligned with ecological principles, we help ensure that both the forests and the communities thrive together. Our efforts contribute to long-term sustainability and resilience of the region's natural resources and cultural heritage.
