GeoMapper
GeoMapper was developed in an effort to provide a low cost, robust, GPS denied positioning and geospatial mapping system that was IP67 rated from the onset.
GeoMapper is available in two versions:
Standalone - LiDAR head and compute unit designed to be used on its own or mounted to third party platforms, capable of powering Rajant mesh devices, and powering / interfacing with third party sensors. Users can add custom software to the compute unit using docker and the portainer interface.
OEM - LiDAR head and dockerised GeoMapper software image intended for 3rd party integration.
Both systems provide a high frequency TF position output, and real time point cloud stream for both mapping and localisation.
GeoMapper utilises ROS to provide it’s real time output, but also produces .PCD point clouds for offline analysis.
